NARRATIVE:

     Nancy and James McGinnis emigrated between 1833 and 1835 from in Ireland along with Sarah McGinnis.2 Between 1835 and 1837, Nancy and her husband, James McGinnis probably moved to in Kalamazoo County, Michigan. They were accompanied by Sarah McGinnis and Thomas McGinnis.2 On 31 July 1850 Nancy appeared on the 1850 federal census in the household of her husband, James McGinnis, in Oshtemo, Kalamazoo County, Michigan.2
     Her son, James, died on 12 August 1874 in Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo County, Michigan, at age 37.4
