NARRATIVE:

     George Linsky was also known as George Plasky.2 George Linsky was also known as George Linski.2 He may have been born from 1864 to 1865.3 George may have immigrated to New York, New York, on 31 March 1893. The passenger listed was Jurgis Plintantski, said to be from "Korono," which may be a misspelling of Kovno (Kaunas). The passenger list notes that he is age 28 and a farmer, and a citizen of Russia.3 George immigrated in 1897.1 At least one document exists which refers to him as George Linsky.4
     His son, Archie, died on 27 July 1915 in St. Joseph, Hartford County, Connecticut.5
     On 29 January 1920 George was enumerated as the head of the household in Windsor Town, Hartford County, Connecticut, in the federal census of 1 January 1920. His wife, Agnes, also lived there at the time of the enumeration, along with their children, George, Alexander, William, Bernard and Agnes.1 George departed from Southampton, England aboard the S.S. Ascania en route to in New York, New York, on 9 December 1926.6
