     Stephan Koekewits was born about 1757 Poland.1 Stephan and Trijntje Harms, daughter of Arent Harms and Anna Catharina Hindriks, were married before 1801.2 Stephan died on Thursday, 13 January 1814 at Militaire Hospital in Groningen, Groningen, the Netherlands.1

     At least one document exists which refers to him as Stephan Koekewits.3 Stephan Koekewits was also known as Stephan Koekewitz.4 Stephan was a soldier.4
